Three Legged Stool - walnut


A joint stool sometimes referred to as a coffin stool dating from 1600-1700. was the most common form of seating before chairs became popular. The stool has three identical block top legs splayed to the front and back, three straight and low stretchers. The round seat has a rectangular edge mould and frieze below is straight.

The stool measures 1 3/4 inches high. The top of the stool is 1 1/2 inches diameter and is available finished in a dark walnut.
